Kennedy Henry

BIOGRAPHY

Kennedy Henry was born in Ottawa and raised in Montreal. At 14 she joined l’Ecole Supérieure de Ballet du Québec to continue her training in dance with an emphasis on classical technique. Throughout her professional training she attended many respected dance programs and workshops such as Springboard, Hubbard Street’s Summer intensive, Arts Umbrella’s summer intensive, ArtOf Forsythe in Berlin and many more.

 

Kennedy has danced professionally in the Nutcracker with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, was a dancer with les Ballets Jazz de Montreal for 5 years, was an artist with Cas Public and is now freelancing in Montreal. Her dance career has allowed her to interpret the works of many renowned choreographers such as Andonis Foniadakis, Itzik Galili, Ihsan Rustem, Hélène Blackburn, Annabelle Lopez, Roberto Campanella, Giocanda Barbuto as well as many others.

 

As her career progresses and her artistry develops, Kennedy’s engagement to the art form has only intensified and she looks forward to continuing her exploration as a dance artist.
