Workshop - Crystal Pite Repertoire & “Kidd Pivot Improvisation Tools”
This workshop is an opportunity for dancers to experience the choreographic work of Crystal Pite. Using examples drawn from recent works, participants will explore some of the techniques and improvisation tools used in generating and performing Kidd Pivot & Pite’s repertoire. This workshop is explorative, non-performative and is geared toward professional dancers.

Renée Sigouin
Renée Sigouin is a Saskatchewan-born Canadian contemporary dance artist. Since graduating from Modus Operandi contemporary dance program in Vancouver in 2012 and studying contact improvisation with Peter Bingham through the EDAM scholarship program, she has performed nationally and internationally originating roles in several works with Out Innerspace Dance Theatre, Kinesis Dance Somatheatro, Joshua Beamish/MOVETHECOMPANY, Company 605, Wen Wei Dance, Mascall Dance, Emmalena Fredriksson, Constance Cooke & EDAM. She joined Crystal Pite’s Kidd Pivot in 2018.
