Founded in 2014, Danse à la Carte (DAC) was born as a response to the necessity for an organization capable of supporting, bridging and connecting professional dancers and choreographers in the ballet, contemporary dance and street dance communities through research in creation, professional development.


DAC is looking for a candidate to fill the position of Administrative Coordinator.


Job description

Under the supervision of the general director and the director of development, and in consultation with the teams assigned to carry out the activities, the administrative officer's main function is to ensure the coordination and administrative management of the client files entrusted.

More specifically, they will :

  • Assist in the preparation of scholarship and/or grant applications;

  • Manage day-to-day operations;

  • Ensure implementation and monitoring of the budget;

  • Follow up with accounting;

Requirements :

  •  A minimum of two years of experience in a similar position;

  • Excellent writing skills with fluency in spoken and written French;

  • Good knowledge of English, an asset;

  • Proficiency of the Mac environment and software from the MS Office suite, Excel, GoogleDrive;

  • Accounting knowledge and the Simply Accounting software, an asset;

Required skills :

  • Team spirit, sense of organization, autonomy, initiative, rigor and integrity;

  • Strong interest in the cultural sector, the performing arts and artistic production;

Position details :

  • Regular part-time position, 10 hours/week;

  • Remuneration to be discussed according to experience;

  • Starting date: As soon as possible
