TESTIMONIALS

"Receiving this one-year scholarship at DAC has been an invaluable contribution to my career  and my development as an artist. One of the first things that come to mind about what made it  so special was the people there. Coming from a mixed background of disciplines and not  following a traditional dance career path, it was meaningful to me to have been able to find a  sense of belonging within the Montreal dance community. From the regulars to the seasonal  comers, be it teachers or attendees, it was thrilling to make new connections and learn from  their diverse experiences.

Beyond the personal connections, the scholarship provided me with substantial financial  support. Economically speaking, a routine of two to three classes a week, and occasional  workshops/masterclasses can easily amount to a lot; something that as an independent artist it  is not always easy to keep up with. This scholarship allowed me to focus on my artistic  pursuits without the constant worry of finances, which was both liberating and motivating."

"I can't express enough how grateful I am to DAC and the entire team for their support. Thanks to the PDP scholarship, I've been able to maintain consistent training, which is so important as a freelance dancer. It has helped me stay prepared for auditions, performances, and other professional opportunities while making high-quality training genuinely accessible.

DAC has given me so much technically, artistically and personally. The teachers are endlessly inspiring, the workshops are a gift, and the sense of community is something truly special within the Montreal dance scene. The DAC team cares deeply about dancers and listens to what the community needs, creates opportunities that reflect those needs, and fosters an environment where artists feel supported, challenged, and encouraged to grow."
