Workshop - Basics - Hip Hop Freestyle
The workshop focus on the basics of Hip Hop Freestyle. The goal is to develop a better understanding of the body, dance, music and Hip Hop culture. Through various technical and “freestyle” exercises, the workshops focus on self-expression in a sound and gestural framework rooted in hip-hop culture.

Nindy Banks
Nindy Banks is a dancer and instructor based in Tiohtià:ke/Montreal. She had the privilege of learning from Hip Hop & Krump pioneers in Montreal and in the United States. With these practices rooted in freestyle, a bachelor's degree in contemporary dance from UQAM, Nindy has developed a particular interest in exploring dance as a vehicle of emotions and sensations. She is a member of the Ebnfloh dance company and participates in multiple projects including with We All Fall Down Interdisciplinary Creations. In 2024, Nindy Banks won the Prix de la danse de Montréal, INTERPRÈTE category.
