Technique class - INNERCORE

We begin with INNERCORE, a dynamic class rooted in an organic, continuous flow of movement that recycles and channels energy. Starting from the floor, we progressively rise through layers of kinetic force, anatomy, instinct, and speed. This practice cultivates a deep physical and mental connection to our own center - an openness that embraces both internal awareness and the external environment. Exploring risk, trust, and instinct, participants learn to balance control with surrender, observing what emerges when we let go. Within a playful and supportive space, we push physical and mental limits, inviting personal intuition and individual movement language to surface and evolve.

Helder Seabra

Helder Seabra (born 1982, Portugal) is a performer, teacher, director, and choreographer whose work combines physical intensity, experimental dance theatre, and collaborative creation. He trained at Ginasiano Dance School in Portugal and P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels under Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker. For over a decade, Seabra was a core member of Ultima Vez / Wim Vandekeybus and Eastman / Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, and collaborated with artists such as Damien Jalet, contributing as a performer, choreographic assistant, and teacher internationally. In 2013, he founded Incognitus, his platform for creative research and collaboration. His work is marked by a dynamic, articulate style that blends raw physicality with theatrical experimentation and precise compositional structures. Since 2018, he has created works for TANZKassel, Unusual Symptoms / Theater Bremen, and MAD (Russia), while continuing to develop new creations with Incognitus. Teaching is central to his practice. Helder leads classes, workshops, and creation labs worldwide, emphasizing process over result. His approach fosters collaboration, exploration, and dialogue, guiding participants through exploration, compositional tools, and individual/collective research. His labs invite curiosity, risk-taking, and transformation, exploring the tension between individual and collective movement in deeply engaging ways.
