Workshop - Freestyle approach
How can the intelligence developed through street and club dance inform stage performance? This improvisation workshop is for any dance artist—from street dance, contemporary dance, or other disciplines—who wants to deepen their understanding of improvisation. It explores the working methods and principles of street dance, not to reproduce its forms, but to adapt them to different gestural vocabularies and performance contexts. Through physical explorations, the workshop encourages each participant to maintain an active reflection on their practice, in connection with notions of community, culture, and history.
