A graduate of Canada's National Ballet School, Naomi Stikeman earned international acclaim performing with The National Ballet of Canada, Béjart Ballet Lausanne, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal and La La La Human Steps. She later went on to become an original cast member of Celine Dion's residency show, A New Day, in Las Vegas. Naomi’s performing career culminated with a Gemini Award and the production of her own show, Çaturn, with distinguished collaborators Crystal Pite, Robert Lepage, Peter Chu, Frédérike Bédard and Matthew Banks.
Upon retiring from the stage and driven to support the next generation of artists, Naomi founded the Las Vegas Performing Arts Initiative; an educational program that connects schools from Nevada and California with celebrated performers, choreographers and directors through educational workshops. By integrating top entertainment professionals into school systems LVPAI aims to empower students, the overall success of their schools, and communities at large.
Naomi continues to exercise a broad influence within the international dance community as host and moderator for the Prix de Lausanne and as guest teacher for world renowned ballet schools and companies, including; Ballet BC, Canada's National Ballet School, l'Ecole Superieure de Ballet du Québec, Hubbard Street Dance Company, Hubbard Street Professional Program, Juilliard, The School of the Pennsylvania Ballet and Les Ballets Jazz de Montréal.
Naomi is honoured to be the Physical Performance Coach for Ms Céline Dion, for demands pertaining to her physical performance.
