Biography

Ludovico Pace was born in Rome and grew up there as well as in Paris. At the age of nine he received his first ballet lessons at the Académie Chaptal in Paris, a year later he switched to the ballet school of the Paris Opera and completed his training at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse in Paris and at the John Cranko Schule Stuttgart. In the 2008/09 season he received his first engagement with the Stuttgart Ballet. His personal repertoire also included solo parts in pieces such as "Sleeping Beauty" (Marcia Haydée), "Gaité Parisienne" (Maurice Bejart), "Krabat" and "Salom" e (Demis Volpi), "La Sylphide" (Peter Schaufuss ), "Romeo and Juliet", "Swan Lake", "The Taming of the Shrew" and "Initials RBME" (John Cranko), "Leonce and Lena" (Christian Spuck) and "The Second Detail" (William Forsythe). Choreographers such as Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Christian Spuck, Bridget Breiner, Edward Clug and Marco Goecke have also created roles for him. In 2016, he became his assistant. Since 2018, he has been helping to study Marco Goecke's pieces. This work has already taken him to the Opéra National de Paris, the Greek National Ballet, the Nuremberg Ballet and others.
