As a partner, your organisation would be supporting the health, longevity and promotion of countless members of the Montreal artistic community including freelance and company dancers with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, Compagnie Marie Chouinard, le Groupe RUBBERBANDance, Cas Public, BJM - Ballets Jazz de Montréal, PPS Danse, Ebnflōh, Compagnie Virginie Brunelle, Alan Lake Factorie, Tentacle Tribe, ou même avec le Cirque du Soleil, le Cirque Éloize et les 7 doigts de la main, among others.


We would be honoured to have your organisation as a partner for our 6th Annual Fundraising Event on Saturday, September 28th, 2019 at the Espace Rouge in the Édifice Wilder - Espace Danse located at Place des Festivals - the heart of Montreal’s cultural district!

Fundraising campaign goals for the 2018-19 season:

  • Further develop and expand the Creation & Research Residency Fund

  • Increase scholarships for TransFormation

  • Subsidize training costs for all registered DAC professional members 

  • Create a special events & development fund

With the help of our partners, the following DAC programs were able to achieve monumental results during our 2018-19 Season, including:


Creation & Research Residency Program

  • 12 Creation and Research Residencies

  • 20 to 60 hours of studio time for each resident artist for a total of 380 hours 

  • 123 hours of accompaniment with our panel of artistic consultants and mentors

  • 4 Creation and Research grants


TransFormation 2019

  • 158 professional dancers gathered in Montreal for a 2-week intensive

  • 230 hours of creation, workshops and presentations exploring the spectrum of current international contemporary dance trends

  • Dancers from Canada, USA, Brazil, Australia and the Netherlands

  • Artists working with Grands Ballets Canadiens, BJM - Ballets Jazz de Montréal, Compagnie Marie Chouinard, RUBBERBANDance Group, The 7 Fingers, Cirque du soleil and Cirque Eloize, among others

  • Faculty included Hannes Langolf, Andrea Peña, Mathieu Leroux, Robin Pineda Gould, Alexandra "Spicey" Landé, Éric Beauchesne (Kidd Pivot), Lisa Davies (Ohad Naharin repertoire), Sarah Gibson (Gaga), Margie Gillis, Tilman O'Donnell, Andrej Petrovič (Akram Khan Company), Ami Shulman, and Amara Barner and Sydney McManus of RUBBERBANDance Group;

  • Final presentation held at Espace Rouge in the Wilder Building in the heart of Place des festivals for an audience of more than 125 people

Profesionnal Development Program

  • More than 140 members have benefitted from DAC’s Professional Development Program​​

  • 86 ballet and contemporary dance classes by an internationally renowned faculty 

  • 2 workshops presented in collaboration with Danse Danse
